Joy | By Lisa Elton

I hope this darling little bear brings the recipient as much joy as he does me. Doesn’t he look so very sweet and innocent perched atop the letter Y? I think the red snowflake that has landed on his nose just adds to the cuteness level!

I used the Nordic Snowflake Border die to cut the single snowflake. Once I had the bear adhered to the card, I used a little Washi tape to hold the negative snowflake piece in place on his nose. Then I glued the red snowflake pieces in place and removed the negative. Tah-dah, it worked! I did notice one piece was a touch crooked and my crafting OCD forced me to fix it! The Fairy Gemstone was added for a touch of pizazz!

This marvelous Nordic Layered Joy sentiment is a wonderful size and can be used with or without the top layer. I’ve always loved aqua and red for Christmas cards. This teal thrown in the mix might now be a favorite too! Those lovely snowflakes in the background were created with our Nordic Motif Stencil.

I love the way this CAS card turned out and I hope you do too! Thanks so much for stopping by today, it’s greatly appreciated!

Such a sweet, sweet card Lisa! I love the aqua/teal and red color combination too…it really makes everything POP on this card! And I had to chuckle when I read about the bears nose on the snowflake…I thought it was a Poinsettia and he was sniffing it! Haha!! ADORABLE card my friend!! Hugs. :0)
