Hi crafty friends! It’s Michelle Woerner here sharing a fun congratulations card featuring the adorable lamb from the Nordic Joyful Lamb die set.
I mean, just look at this cutie!! I started with a playful piece of plaid pattern paper from the Gladiola Plaid 6×6 paper pack. I love the pink and mauvy-coral tones this paper has! I trimmed some white cardstock and added some gold splatter and adhered it for my background.
I die cut the cute lamb from white cardstock and lightly inked the edges with a pale pink ink. I die cut her cute sweater set from a mauve and light glitter pink cardstock, both were chosen to coordinate with the pattern paper. Next, I die cut balloons from a variety of papers using the Brilliant Birthday Balloons die set. The die set does have 2 “string” options, but I love adding texture to my card by using gold string for my balloons instead. I arranged my balloons and adhered them to the card front using foam squares.
I chose three sentiment from the Hooray clear stamp/die set and embossed them with gold on white cardstock. I trimmed them out and adhered them to the card front with foam squares slightly wonky. Lastly, I added some gold pearls to tie in all the gold elements in the card.
