Challenge Reminder: PAWsitively Fun

Hello Poppystamps friends! I am popping in to remind you about this month’s challenge! On the first of every month we announce the challenge, and you get most of the month to join us. Just create a project following the theme, use at least one Poppystamps image or die, and link up your design with any online gallery like Flickr, Splitcoaststampers, Instagram, etc. We select one card that we like best as the monthly winner and then randomly select one entry as the winner of a $20 gift card to the store.

For this month’s challenge, our theme is “PAWsitively Fun.” This is for all of our animal loving friends! Your project (which doesn’t have to be a card) can feature your favorite animal. Just be sure to use at least one Poppystamps die or stamp on your project in order to be eligible to win.

For my card today, I chose some products from the new Nordic Garden release, starting with the beautiful Fine Eyelet Frames. I used the largest die from that set to create the white panel, and then I glued that to a white A2 card base. I cut all the rest of my elements from white card stock, as well, and then used Distress Inks to color them.

The flower pots are from the new Nordic Scalloped Flower Pots. As with all of the gorgeous Nordic products, there are several layers for these pots, but I kept them pretty simple for today. The stems, leaves, and large flower all come from the Lovely Floral Bundle.

Of course, this card would not be PAWsitively Fun without the critter. I chose the Nordic Adorable Bunny, and I love how he’s peaking out of the pot. For a final touch, I added some clear dewdrops around the design. I hope this card brings a smile to your face today. Thank you so much for joining us on the blog.
