Have a Holly Jolly Holiday

There are so many things to love about Poppystamps and all the wonderful dies, papers and products they carry. One of my favorites is how EASY Poppystamps makes it to create beautiful cards. The card I’m sharing today is one that anybody can easily recreate. I started with several fabulous Cardstock Colors including Cranberry and Orange Peel among others. You could really use any color combination on the cards we share here, and they’d all be equally as lovely.

I used an embossing folder on the light pink layer for added texture to my background. The sentiment was stamped in the center of the second smallest oval from the Scalloped Pinpoint Oval Dies. I also splattered the sentiment spot with a bit of pink and black inks for added color. By cutting the scalloped edge of the oval from a piece of the rich Cranberry Cardstock, it helped it stand out better against the lighter background. I used the Nordic Cozy Teacup Die Set to cut this gorgeous cup. The adorable penguin was cut using the Santa Penguin Die, and in her hand, she’s holding a coffee cup found in the Coffee Penguin Dies. It’s so nice how you can easily interchange all these wonderful dies.
