Cute Critters Challenge Reminder

Did you know that Poppystamps has a monthly challenge? It’s a great way to find inspiration, see what others are making with their Poppystamps products, and even have a chance to win a gift certificate to the store. This month the challenge is Cute Critters, and Poppystamps has lots to choose from. Just be sure to include one on your design and link it to any on line gallery like Instagram!
I love making scene cards! This one came together quick! I started with a sky blue background and then added the Nordic Treeline row of green pines. The snow is cut from white cardstock, and white glitter cardstock with the hills from Whittle Field and Trees. I alternated the plain and glitter paper for some contrast.
The Nordic Playful Penguin looks like he’s just met the Nordic Happy Snowman. I love that their outfits are similar – one in red and one in blue. 
A circle cut from the Scallop Pinpoint Rings becomes a sun coming up behind the trees, and the finishing touch is a sprinkle of Fairy Crystals to look like snow!
