Hello Spring

Hello Spring, we’ve been waiting for you! This sweet little trio and I have been waiting for warmer days and all things spring. How about you? I’ve used a few products from our new Nordic Spring release to create today’s card. Lets take a few close up looks, shall we.
This Nordic Bunny Trio die set is just as sweet as it can be. Three tiny bunnies that can be used together or by themselves. I cut them from marshmallow cardstock, colored their little cheeks and ears with Copic markers and also used a black Copic marker for their eyes and noses. They look perfectly innocent, but we all know there just here for the big carrots!
I created the plump plaid carrots using an oval die that I trimmed to ‘carrot shape’. The bunnies were glued to the back of each carrot with just their little heads peeking up. My carrot tops were created by trimming sprigs cut from the Fern and Daisy Pop Up Easel set. One of our new spring sentiments, cut from Gold Vintage Mirror cardstock, was added to bring our the gold in the patterned papers.
Lets not forget bout those darling itty bitty butterflies! They were cut using the Bunches o’ Butterflies die and that same gold cardstock. The Pointy Lattice Plate background was cut with paper from the MB Nutmeg Forest paper pad. It’s another season, but it worked perfectly here!

Oh, my goodness, those bitsy rabbits and teensy butterflies are so darned cute! I love how the sentiment comes with a flower to create a dot for the “i”. Clever you to make carrots from the oval, too! I love it all, Lisa!
