You are the Best
by Michelle Woerner

Hi Crafty Friends! I’m Michelle Woerner and I’m excited to announce that I have joined the Poppystamps Design Team! This is my first blog post and am happy to share this fun balloons card. I used some of the new goodies from the Birthday Love release! This card is for that friend who needs to be reminded just how great they are. With a quick change of the sentiment, this could be perfect for a birthday or even a new baby card!

To get started, I picked a few patterns from the Birthday Fun 6×6 paper pad. I framed the gold foil dotted piece with some gold cardstock and set aside.

I die cut the small balloons from the Brilliant Birthday Balloons die set with the 3 other papers I picked. I thought my balloon bouquet needed some sparkle, so I pulled one of the lighter pieces from the Delicate Pastel Glitter 6×6 pad. I adhered gold thread to the backs of each balloon and arranged them on the main panel.

Because every balloon bouquet needs a few flowers, I used the smallest flower from the new Handpicked Bouquet die set and die cut 4 from white cardstock. I added a small pink gems from the Pastel Jewels pack to the centers. These gems are simple yet added the perfect amount of bling! And bonus, they don’t add much bulk and this can still be mailed with a regular postage stamp. The sentiment is from the Sentimental Banners stamp and die set and was heat embossed with white on black cardstock.

Be sure to check out the entire release! It features 14 die sets, 1 stamp/die set, 1 layering stencil set and 1 6×6 pattern paper pad. Everything works together and are perfect for all your birthday or celebration cards.

Thank you for stopping by. I hope I inspired you to pull out your patterned paper and create a big ole balloon bouquet. I’m so excited to be here and you can also follow me on my personal blog Stop and Stamp the Roses or on Instagram @mwoerner. Have a great day!
