Happy Birthday
by Lisa Elton

Are you familiar with our Pop Up Easel Sets? They contain a series of dies that let you create a card that mails flat, but then displays popped up! The above photo shows you what I mean. You have a die that cuts the pop up base and dies to create the display portion of the card. This is the Bird House set. It actually contains some winter dies too. Pine, snowy additions and a cardinal. But mine is decked out for Spring! Lets take a look…

After constructing the birdhouse, I added the Nordic Bold Bird to her new home. Some glittery cardstock was added for just a touch of pizazz! You’ve probably noticed one corner of my birdhouse was cut off. It was a mishap in the machine! No worries though, it’s going to be covered!

Tad-dah! The recipient will never know there was a boo-boo! I’ve added several of our Nordic flowers. Some parts popped up with little foam dots and a touch more glitter.

The Memory Box sentiment tab works perfectly to hold the pop up easel card in place; but isn’t too thick for the flat fold.

You can pop this up as much as you like. I chose to put my “holder” lower on the panel because it fit nicely in that particular space.

I hope I’ve inspired you to check out our Pop Up Easel sets! There are some fun things to choose from. The bonus is that you can use the dies for a regular card too. I’ve used this little birdhouse on a regular A2 card for the holidays and it worked perfectly. Thanks so much for stopping by. Happy Spring, friends!
