Penguin Warm Wishes

Happy Sunday! Ilina here today and I am sharing a card using few products from the new Nordic Noel release, 2790 Scalloped Pinpoint Oval Frames, 2796 Winter Wrap Penguin, 2803 Satin Ribbon and 2807 Warm Wishes Fluffy Script.

To make the card start by die cutting all the elements. Die cut additional 2 layers for the sentiment and the scalloped frame from white cardstock to stack them up for additional dimension and sturdiness. And additional layer for the sentiment shadow one so I they can be offset and show two different shades of pink.

Assemble the penguin, bow and sentiment. In order the penguin to have black eyes, color the orange face layer with black marker around the eye area.

Now that you have everything assembled, you can start putting your card together. Start with a white card base, either side or top folding will work. The finished size of the card is A2 (4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″).

Adhere a light pink A2 layer on front, then the white oval and the frame around it. Using foam adhesive adhere the penguin and sentiment. Once they are in place add the bow making sure it doesn’t overlap the sentiment, so it can be visible.

The card will be larger than A2 due to the bow going off the card, so you will need a larger envelope and deliver it by hand as a gift topper 🙂
