Happy Birthday

Hello Poppy peeps! I celebrated my birthday recently and we had a new release in the shop that just happened to contain birthday items. A fun coincidence that turned into a card! Lets take a look at how it all came together.
I started with my favorite Penelope Pinpoint Frame cut from a minty green cardstock. This was layered onto a rustic ivory card base.
Using our new Brilliant Birthday Balloons dies, I cut them using some festive foiled paper from the Birthday Fun 6×6 paper pad. What’s not to love about a big polka dot balloon!
The two smaller balloon dies come with a string die. I used a portion of one of those for my big balloon. These were all cut from gold glitter cardstock.
I love our new Happy Birthday Streamer Script sentiment! Isn’t it cute? I used more of the fun striped foiled paper and backed it with ivory cardstock.
The icing on the cake was the new Daisy Trio. All cut from ivory cardstock with the same glitter gold center that I used on the balloon strings.
Those glittery flower centers are on pop dots. They add just the right amount of pizazz to this festive card! My niece has a birthday next month, I think I’ll tuck this in an envelope and send it off to her!

This is just as sweet as can be! Stripes and polka dots make for very festive balloons. The touch of gold is perfect!
