Thank You Florals
by Lisa Elton

Have you seen the new Nordic Scatter Flower dies from the latest release? They’re lots of fun because you can style them in so many ways! I’ve put a trio into the new Nordic Scallop Flower Pot for today’s card. Let me show you how this lovely summery card came together.

First up, sorry for this slightly blurry photo. I have an injured wrist and the hubs has a heavy camera! I started with a white card base topped with the super sweet Fine Eyelet Frame. This one is the second largest in the set. The Nordic Border was added for a place to set my flower pot.

My golden yellow/orange scrap of cardstock was detailed with some Copic coloring to give the pot the look of terra cotta. That’s what I have on our patio and that was the inspiration for the coloring of my card today. This new flower pot set has four layers as you can see. You can use them all or switch it up to make it your own!

My flowers were constructed with three shades of pink cardstock for their first layer. The second layers were all cut from yellow cardstock then Copic coloring was added. I used the Lantana in my own terra cotta pots as my color inspiration! Deep green leaves were cut with the new Nordic Leafy Stems die.

I positioned my pot to the left of the card and left some components unglued so I could give them a little lift.

The Thank You Tender Script die was the perfect size for the space I had left. It was cut from white cardstock to pull the design together. My butterfly (Nordic Cheery Butterflies) color choices reflect the flower colors for this same reason.

I hope I’ve helped you image the pretty pots of flowers on my patio! The colors on them get more beautiful as the summer continues and the hummingbirds like to visit them too! Thank for stopping by, we love it when you do!
