Sending Smiles
by Lisa Elton
Hello friends! I thought I would send some smiles your way today. I mean, seriously, how can you look at any of the wonderful Nordic dies and not smile? I’m hoping these pretty Nordic Fanfare Butterflies do the trick for you today!

I cut a trio of these little beauties using a patterned paper pad from our parent company, Memory Box called Anemone. I picked a coordinating lavender from their Lagoon Solid Core paper and used silver from the Festive Glitter pad for their bodies.
Next, I cut out a panel using the Evangeline Pinpoint Frame cover die to add to my card base. I love the pretty detail on this die!
Speaking of details, look how pretty the layers on this butterfly are! The are so many color possibilities for this die. I know there aren’t plaid butterflies in nature, but it’s fun to get creative with our paper versions! This sentiment comes from the Memory Box Gracious Floral set. I’ve heat embossed it with Liquid Platinum embossing powder. The finishing touch was a sprinkling of clear fairy jewels.

I hope some smiles have fluttered your way today. Thank you for stopping by, it’s appreciated!
