A Sparkly Merry Christmas

The Nordic Noel release has given us some wonderful new additions to the shop! I thought I would pair a traditional holiday gold with a couple of unexpected colors for my card featuring the beautiful Nordic Drop Ornament. My color combination came from a twirling costume of mine! I was 16 and won a national baton twirling championship at Notre Dame University in these colors!
I started this card with a white base layered with the lovely Fine Eyelet Frame. As I’ve done in the past, I used a bright white card base and layered on a different shade for my die cut panel.
Next came some shimmery holly. I used mirrored lime green card for the base layer. Then came some mirrored gold card for the “dipped” tips.
This ornament is so beautiful and elegant! I just love the bead section that you can add to the bottom or the top!
As you can see, my holly berries were made from the same aqua that was used for those ornament layers. Aren’t they fun!
My final element is a simple sentiment tab by Memory Box. I just love the way this turned out and the memories I had of that exciting day so long ago while creating it! Stop by the shop to check out this latest release. Thanks for stopping by!

Well, you little baton twirler you! I love these colors for Christmas and I imagine they were pretty on your twirling outfit, too. Like Michele, I’m wondering when we’ll get to see that photo.
