Using Up Those Leftovers
by Lisa Elton
When doing some organizing with my Poppy products, I discovered several leftovers that all looked like they belonged together on a card. Today’s project is a mini slimline. Lets take a look at how it all came together.

I started with a white card base cut to 3 1/2″ x 6 1/4″. It was topped with an arched Nordic Border.

The smallest of the Scalloped Framer Tags was added next. It had been cut from a marshmallow cardstock. I like the two shades of white together, don’t you! The tag is topped with the Little Bow & String. This was the only item that wasn’t in my leftovers. I wanted a hanger for my tag, so I layered up this loopy bow.

The trio of Heart Flowers had been cut from both plaid and white papers. The smallest one went into the center of the bow with a pop dot. A simple sentiment tab by Memory Box worked with my various whites.

I finished it off with a trio of butterflies that were just waiting to be used! The top layer is glued just in the center so I could give their wings a little lift.

You can see the pretty plaid on the blooms and the sparkle on the butterflies in this close-up! I hope I’ve inspired you to get creative with those leftovers. Thanks so much for letting me share mine with you today!
