Beautiful Butterfly

Hello! My mother loves butterflies! The Nordic Fanfare Butterfly is simply gorgeous and made it super easy to create several birthday cards at once with all the die cut layers. Blue is one of my favorite colors of butterflies. I die cut three shades of blue cardstock with the Nordic Fanfare Butterfly and then layered them together with liquid adhesive. The butterfly creates such a beautiful focal point on your card.
I decided to do a greeting in the same colored cardstock and used the Modest Banner Greetings Hot Foil Plate to make the sentiment. I die cut it with the banner die included in the hot foil stamp. I layered it across the butterfly and popped up with some foam tape. I actually made the banners with gold and silver foil and choose to go with the gold.
For my card base, I used the Nordic Floral Cover Plate. Look at all that detail! Some of the panel will pop out and you can insert other colors but I love a clean white card base so I kept it pretty simple! I ended up with three cards for my mom’s birthday stash! I hope you have a wonderful day!
