Challenge Reminder – Yappy Birthday!

Hi, it’s Rachel here with a challenge reminder. The theme is PAWsitively Fun–PSC #319! Create a project in our fur baby theme, use at least one Poppystamps image or die, link up and the winner will be announced at the end of the month. Woof Woof!

To create this card, I die cut the Poppystamps Long Dachshund and the Holiday Corgi. Both of these adorables come with sweaters but I opted to just have them in the bare! (The Holiday Corgi also comes with antlers!) I used Orange Peel paper for both canines and black glossy cardstock for the Dachshund’s ear. I used a black Sharpie pen for the eyes.

Next I cut the largest Fine Eyelet Frame from the Birthday Fun patterned paper pack. It adds just enough character on this card that can also be used for a masculine birthday. I adhered the paper to a white cardbase.

Then I diecut the happy birthday sentiment out of black and the Yappy Birthday sentiment out of white. I cut another layer for the yappy birthday to give it a nice lift and glued it down. Silver Fairy Jewels complete the card.

I think this turned out great. The corgi steals the spotlight. What a fun card this was to make!
