Spooky Boo
by Michele K. Henderson

Hello Friends!

It’s the season of spooky boos, and an I have a cute one to share with you today! Take a look!

I started with a white card base and a blue-black background for this sweet little spider to drop by for a friendly little boo. The spider is from our newest die sets, Whittle Creatures, and he is perfect for a fun Halloween scare. I added the Reeded Deco Curve in crisp white, and cut an assortment of leaves and acorns from Fanciful Fall Leaves, Maple Symphony, and Adrianna Square.

A fun fall card needs a few spooky creatures too, so I added a piece from the Jack O Lantern Frame, and the Whittle Mouse! Really, these guys are ALL too cute to spook, right?

Arrange everything all together and you’ve got a bright and spooky fall scene. I love to create seasonal cards that feature fresh color palettes, like this midnight blue and rich rusts, browns, and golds. It’s a little different from the bright pumpkin oranges and purples, but I like it. What new color palettes would you like to experiment with for your own Spooky Boo?

Thanks so much for joining us today!
