Garden Border and Butterflies
by Dana Kirby

Good Morning Friends and Welcome Back! I am stopping by today with a fun birthday card to share with you all. Although I created a birthday card, this same card can be used for many different occasions by just chasing the sentiment. Let’s get started, shall we?

I started my card by ink blending Distress Oxide Ink in Twisted Citron, Cracked Pistachio and Squeezed Lemonade onto a piece of cardstock. I then ran the cardstock through my die cutting machine with the Leafy Garden Border Die. Don’t you just love the detail this die creates. I also ink blended my card panel (background) with Distress Oxide Ink in Tumbled Glass.

Next, I ink blended Distress Oxide Ink in Picked Raspberry, Carved Pumpkin, Mustard Seed, Mowed Lawn, Peacock Feathers and Wilted Violet onto small squares of cardstock. I then ran them through my die cutting machine with the Intricate Cut Butterflies Die Set.

For my sentiment, I used the Birthday Blowout Stamp Set. I stamped Happy Birthday directly onto my Leafy Garden Border and then attached everything to my A2 card base. Lastly, I added a few sparkling clear jewels to finish my card.

Thanks for joining me today! I also wanted to let you all know that this will be my last post as a member of the PoppyStamps Design Team. I have decided to step down at this time. I want to Thank everyone on the PoppyStamps team for their generosity and amazing support. I will forever be their customer and fan.
