Happy Hugs
by Michele K. Henderson

Hello Friends!

It’a a beautiful spring day, which means it is time to celebrate with Happy Hugs! I used soft spring colors and an inlay technique to create this pretty “hugs” card. I think it will make the perfect birthday card for someone special. Take a look!

To create this Happy Hugs card, I started out by cutting the Graceful Heart Frame in a crisp white color.

I adhered the frame onto a pale blue card base, then cut the graceful heart frame again, in a soft green and a linen white.

Once all of my leaves were cut, I then carefully inserted the green and linen white leaf pieces with a very thin-tipped adhesive and a pair of craft tweezers. A beautiful inlay technique takes a little time and patience, so don’t try to create this look in a rush.

Once the leaves are in place, add the Luscious Script Hugs cut in lemon yellow and white, along with a Little Hummingbird cut in pale lilac.

A few sparkly sequins give this card the finishing touch!

Thanks so much for joining us today!
