A Summer Bouquet for You
by Jennifer Harte

Hello Friends! One of my favorite things about summer is gathering fresh blooms and creating bouquets to enjoy or share with friends. This time, I decided to create a summer bouquet that could be mailed to a former neighbor and dear friend.

To create this card, I started by die-cutting the beautiful coneflower from the the Lovely Floral Bundle five times. To add some shine, I used some brass-colored foil from my stash to die cut the Nordic Watering Can.

For my background, I layered the two largest Fine Eyelet Frames. I wanted to keep the design clean and simple, so I skipped any ink blending and instead paired some Memory Box Golden Wheat cardstock with plain white cardstock. I love how the soft combination lets the floral bouquet remain the star!

To finish the card, I added an Open Studio Thinking of You foil tab, which perfectly complements the sentiment behind this card.

I love the simple, fresh look of this card and think it captures the beauty of a summer bouquet. I hope it inspires you to check out these items and all the other wonderful offerings from Poppystamps. Most importantly, please don’t forget to share some handmade happiness of your own!
