Challenge Reminder

Hi there, Marybeth here today. You still have time to play in the : Anything Goes Challenge for  a chance to win a prize!

 I have a card using the new Holiday dies and stamps !  For this card I took the: Poppystamps , Warm Wishes Gift Card Cup and used it to hold the watercolored Maple Trio Dies .

 

I cut out lots of leaves then used my water-pen and Peerless Watercolor sheets to color all my leaves and cup.

I made two cups one was watercolored (on the upper right) and the other ink blended (left) : I ended up using the watercolored cup and saved the other for another time.

I adhered the leaves with score tape and when I wanted a little lift I just bunched up the tape and that was enough for random pops of leaves. Some leaves are adhered flat. I ended up adding another layer of the cup to the back side for more stability,I also added shimmer with a shimmer pen to the cup.

I layered the watercolor cardstock on the card base and stamped the sentiment using : Pumpkin Patch clear stamp set from Poppystamps .

  19. This is such a beautiful card with bold vibrant leaves that makes the fall perfect. Storing them in the peacock feather colored mug and enjoy the beauty of nature.. The dies are so perfect
