A Fall Thank You Card
By Carol McFarland

Hello and Welcome to the Poppystamps blog. Fall seems like a good time to have a thank you card ready for hosts or hostesses at Thanksgiving or other holiday/special gatherings. I gathered up some of my favorite die sets and made this for these type of occasions. I used 2366 Adriana Pop Up Easel Set, 2787 Pumpkin Patch dies and 2776 Thank You Tender Script dies for my card today.

The Adriana frame is just beautiful, isn’t it? I love the detail in the leaves, and those berries are so pretty. They cut with ease the first time through the die cutting machine. I didn’t use the easel die that also comes with this set. Instead, I popped up the frame on foam tape then I arranged some pastel pumpkins in the center of the Adriana oval.

Here is a closer look at the detail in the pumpkins that are stacked neatly like they are at pumpkin patches. You can also see the dimension in the Thank You dies. I love texture on a card and even as a child liked feeling things that were raised, fuzzy or otherwise added something to an otherwise flat card.

These pumpkins are so cute and come in many sizes all on one die. The stems die cuts four at a time on a second die and they result in stems that point in different directions for variety. These pumpkins are one of my favorite die sets I have from Poppystamps.

Here is a real closeup of the dimension in the Thank You dies. Both the background and the words “poof” up a bit and that adds interest to any card. Poppystamps really thinks in great detail with their dies.
I hope you were inspired today to create a thank you card for fall event hosts and hostesses. I am sure they would appreciate the labor of love that our handmade cards are and display them in their homes.
Thanks for visiting today!
