Seaside Birthday Greetings
by Marybeth Lopez

Hi there! Marybeth here today with this detailed: Seaside Dock and Wooden Rowboat dies from Poppystamps !

I cut my dies out of colored cardstock then lightly shaded them with soft brushes to highlight the detail even more. The brushes help me keep it light, even and smoother than a sponge.
Each one( boat and dock) is layered twice then adhered with foam tape. The background was made by shading and kinda guessing where the water and land would be.

The brushes wash out very easily and dry fast. I also used watercolor cardstock for the base of my card.

I added a little piece of twine to the dock and boat, for a little more 3d look of the card.
Thanks so much for the visit and congratulations to all the Blog Blitz winners!

Wonderful technique, Marybeth! Such a fun card and so perfect for a fisherperson, or someone who’s lucky enough to have a cabin on a lake. So serene!
