Love Rush
by Michele K. Henderson

Hello Everyone!

We are all so glad you could join us today, with thoughts of love and cheery days ahead! Today I am sharing a colorful card I created to capture that wonderful feeling of being in love, like a rush of fluttering butterflies! Take a look!

Tiny butterflies float across the page in a swoosh of color and dimension. I used the Stitched Fluttering Butterflies and the Love Stitch Circle to create a tiny 3D effect.

Adding the butterflies is the fun part! Once you have all your Lepidoptera cut, carefully fold them in half and arrange them on your card.

To adhere the butterflies to your card, all you need is a small splotch of glue right in the center. Once the butterfly is in place, gently hold the wings together and use the end of your craft tweezers to press down right in the center for a moment while your glue becomes tacky and sets in place. I like to use Aleene's original tacky glue because it dries so quickly, and has a nice small tip for gluing tiny little cuts.

Once the butterflies are dry, you can open and close their wings! You can lay the wings flat to slide into an envelope, or close them for a fluttery effect!

Thank you so much for joining us today!
