Easy and Festive Gatefold Cards

Hello!  Today I'll share how I made these fun, simple gatefold cards! 

The possibilities are endless with the color and embellishment options to create different looks and themes.  

The fabulous base layers from the Postage Square Layers and Heart Pattern Plate make the perfect base for a gatefold card that looks like it took a long time to make… but didn't!  

I used the Stitched Evangeline Snowflake as the base for a sparkly layer of Boho Snowflake.  I love how these snowflake dies work together to create options!  I definitely could have put a crystal or sequin on top of the snowflake, but I love how flat these cards are especially when mailing bulk cards for Christmas. 

Since there were three square postage bases to embellish, I thought the three letters from the Joy Banner die perfectly matched the playful Heart Pattern Plate.

All of these dies are so versatile – even the lettering look can be changed with a different paper and crank of the die cutter!  

The Roaming Polar Bear looks great all white and sparkly, and I just couldn't resist as long as the glitter paper was out!  A quick flip to horizontal, and larger Rectangle Postage Layer made it fast and easy.

The Folk Merry Christmas is the perfect font for a Kraft-style card, so I used this for the interior card greeting.  The red base was made using the Postage Rectangle Layers and the Pinpoint Rectangle Layers made the top layer so easy. 

I love how the borders from the Postage Layers give a festive hello even while in the envelope!
