Evangeline Floating Square
by Michele K. Henderson

Hello Everyone!

Thank you all so much for dropping by and taking a look at our gorgeous new Poppystamps Holiday Blog Blitz! We have got beautiful holiday designs and inspiration from August 2 -14, and a chance to win every day! Today, I am am sharing a card I created with the brand new Evangeline Floating Square. Take a look!

I created a magical snowy shaker card perfect for the very first holiday snow day! I used the Evangeline Floating Square as the top layer of my shaker card, and filled it with clear white and pale blue sequins, snowflakes, and tiny sprinkles. I really had my shaker well “loaded” but as soon as I turned it up, half my sequins and most of my sprinkles all seemed to stick to the double sided foam tape on the inside and disappear! It still looks cool when I shake it though!

Once I had my shaker part finished, I double cut the Magic Loose Script in blue and white glitter paper, and added it right in the center. This could look really cute with anything winter or holiday, like a  holly sprig and berries, or tiny pine cones or gingerbread men. Then I added the Small Polar Bear and a Stitched Alpine Snowflake with tiny foam pop dot bits, and then topped it off with a few sparkling sequins. Magic is afoot!
