 Hi there ! I hope you are enjoying the Poppystamps Blog Blitz !

As soon as the new dies came back in July I sat down to make this shaker card just for fun , I liked it so much I thought I should use it for the blog blitz!

My top layer is watercolor paper to add a bit of texture. I added a layer of acetate under the second layer of paper, then added glass beads for the shaker.

I cut the word Merry, from the new Merry Frame and the word Christmas, from the new Christmas frame. I love that I now have an easy “Merry Christmas” sentiment to add to any of my Christmas cards. I sure need to get busy , I usually have about half  of my Christmas cards completed  by now.  

 So many new stamps and be beautiful new Holiday dies to choose from this summer. No need to wait till the last minute.

  48. A gorgeous card, Marybeth! The Open Hillside die is perfect for the snow scene shaker card. Using the beads for the shaker, thank you, they are easy to find. I can’t find snowflake sequins small enough for mine, so now I know the beads work beautifully. The Merry Christmas looks fantastic, great use of those frame dies. I am excited that Poppystamps has released the scene dies, this is the style of cards I am planning on making this year. Love the shaker card idea, perfect for this card.
