A Penguin Christmas!

Hi crafty friends! It’s Rachel here with a festive Christmas card! I am super excited to feature the brand new Poppystamps Holiday Cheer release! The Luxury Sleigh die is absolutely a must-have for the up and coming holiday season.
To create this card I die cut the Luxury Sleigh in red mirrored paper for the outside and solid red for the inside of the sleigh. The detail is fantastic! Gold pearlized paper made up the edges and the sleigh rails. I die cut the bow in two shades of green glitter paper. I glued it all together.
Next I die cut the Fringed Heart Frames –second to the largest heart. Instead of using the frame, I used only the heart. The heart represents the moon!
In red glitter paper, I die cut the Merry Christmas Fluffy Script die. I glued it onto the yellow heart.
I die cut the santa hat using the Santa Penguin die in red and white glitter. I die cut the Coffee Penguin in flossy black, Orange for the beak and feet! I glued the pieces together. Then I die cut the Trimmed Trees in three shades of green.
I cut out a black A2 sized cardfront and adhered it to a white cardbase. I splattered gold specks using a fan brush and gold acrylic paint. Finally I glued all the pieces onto the black cardfront. I trimmed down the trees and glued them to the bottom of the card to depict the sleigh way up high in the air. And now the card is complete!
