Toasty Warm
It's a toasty warm fire! I have wanted to feature this card ever since this adorable Fireplace Logs and Warm and Cozy Fire first came out from Poppystamps! It's one of my favorites. I had the campfire idea for a while when we received some notes from Dave, the creator of Memory Box and Poppystamps. Dave has so many great ideas, and he happened to mention the fire and logs combo would make a great card, with sticks and marshmallows added in with puffy paint. I haven't tried the puffy paint, but lately I have been experimenting with foamies! Poppystamps steel craft dies can cut just about anything and I've tried a lot–styrofoam plates, flattened aluminim cans, felt, wool, burlap, shiny wrapping paper, pieces of leather, even the thinnest vellum and textured papers. I love their versatility! So, thanks, Dave, for the great inspiration AND the great dies you create!
The fire and logs were created with Warm and Cozy Fire and Fireplace Logs. The smoky grey backgound is the swirly Luxe Background! The branches were created with Berry Sprig, and the round marshmallow dots are from an old-school hand held paper hole puncher. It makes the perfect fall fire scene.
