Thank You, Thank You, Thank You

I have been having such fun playing with the Maple Leaf die.  I'm thinking the possibilities are nearly endless.  I cut the inside using paper I'd created with my alcohol ink refills.  I'd seen a video on YouTube and thought this might be fun.  Well, long story short, I think I must have missed a step or two. The ink did not spread as I'd hoped.  That said.  I think I did make lemonade from lemons as in the end, I am satisfied with the paper color I'd created.  I cut the Maple Leaf die a second time this time from gold mirror card stock and that is what I used for the outline.  I mounted the leaf die onto a piece of brown cardstock that I'd embossed using a brick embossing folder. And mounted this piece to another peice of gold mirror stock, which I then mounted to the base.  Using the Thank You So Much rubber stamp, I embossed it in gold and that's how I made the front of this card.

And now on to the inside.  I die cut the Leaf Silhouette and mounted it on the white card stock.  I die cut the Maple leaf border and used one of the leaves in the upper right hand corner.  I wanted to leave lots of room to write my thank you note.  So, now you know how I made this card and honestly, this was so very easy.  And it's also flat, so it won't break the bank when I post it.

I hope my card inspires you and if it does…..please leave a comment, and I'll check out what you've created.

Until next time…..
