I am so excited to start using the new and totally fabulous Poppystamps dies and Memory Box stencils.  We’re celebrating with great project ideas and giveaways on our blog for two weeks!

My post today features the fun new Memory Box Butterfly Vine stencil, since Poppy Stamps is a division of Memory Box, we get to play with some of their new stencils.  I have not used my Pan Pastel caulks in a long time and with the addition of the stencils I will now have more goodies to play with to create cards.  To complete the design I cut the Petit Four Border for the corners.

  1. This is the second card I’ve seen in just the past few days where using chalk is the highlight..Love it! I’m really WOW’d by all of the stencils and dies in this release..I never would have thought to use the petit fours on the corners,very clever! Nice card!

  15. This is a very pretty color combination. I found this stencil a little tricky to work with, but now that I see what very detailed and pretty results you’ve achieved, I think I’ll go and practice a little more! It’s good to push ourselves to try new things and now you’ve inspired me to try again!

  33. Such a pretty card! I’d love to win the butterfly stencil. I’ve got some Pan Pastels too and I don’t know why I didn’t think of using them with stencils! Thanks for the idea!

  38. I have lots of MB butterfly dies but this stencilling does give a very soft look. Nice job!
