Cruising into Spring with the Bunny Family

Hello Friends! Today, I’m sharing a colorful card featuring the Joyride Car from the Penguin Party Release. Instead of penguins, a sweet bunny family taking a drive through a field of beautiful Spring flowers.

For my background I started with a 5 1/2’ x 4 1/4” panel of Leaf Sprout cardstock. To create a field of blooms, I added a 5 1/4” x 4” piece of patterned paper from the Memory Box Glimmering Gladiola paper pad.

I’ve always had a bunny or two visit my yard. Last year I had a family and they definitely enjoyed eating all my flowers! For the bunny family on this card, I used the Nordic Happy Bunny and the Nordic Bunny Trio. These adorable bunnies are very easy to assemble and I colored them using various Distress Oxide inks.  

For the fun Joyride Car, I used a variety of papers in cheerful Spring colors and vellum for the windshield. I cut two layers for the Easter Wishes sentiment to add a little extra dimension. You could also easily use the Hello Spring (2730) sentiment from Poppystamps for this card.
