A Simple Note
I wanted to play around with the mushroom image from the Forest Fun clear set to make a bright colored note.
The card pictured above is what I came up with on my first go around, but I have some more ideas swirling around for these cute little mushrooms. The Forest Fun clear set contains 3 different mushroom images & they work well paired with other images or simply by themselves.
This card is fairly simple to put together. I used layers of Mocha (base card), Ocean, & Cranberry. You could easily play around with different color combinations. The cranberry layer has a woodgrain “texture” added with a background stamp from my collection. When I use this stamp, I like to play with different colors, instead of always using traditional wood colors. The mushroom was colored & the dots were covered with Stickles to add a bit of sparkle.
The ocean layer was punched out with a Martha Stewart border punch & its finish off by embellishing with some polka dot brown ribbon.
