A Bella Birthday

I have a friend who is celebrating a birthday next week, so I thought I would create a card using Bella Balloon (211C). I played around with some of the papers from the Memory Box Gossamer paper pack from the Valentine collection. I thought this super adorable floral paper would work well with the Bella Balloon Poppy image.

To make this card, start with a Cherry BlossomMemory Box notecard. Frame a piece of Memory Box Gossamer paper with Mocha cardstock & adhere off center a bit. I used an EK Success scallop edge punch on one side of the Mocha frame. Stamp Bella Balloon on a piece of white cardstock & color as desired. I paper pieced her dress using a coordinating piece of Gossamer paper. After coloring the balloons, they were trimmed & adhered with foam adhesive to add some dimension. They were also covered with a clear Spica glitter pen to add a subtle sparkle. Bella is framed in a piece brown with pink polka dot paper from the Snow & Cedar paper pack, punched out with the Marvy Giga Scalloped Square punch. Happy Birthday sentiment was stamped using Memento Rich Cocoa ink.
