Best of the Bunch

This was a fun project, but what a mess I made. I should have known better than to pull out the loose glitter. I had a lot of clean up to do after I was finished J. I'm happy I used loose glitter, despite the mess. I really like how the clouds sparkle. If you are not a fan of loose glitter, Stickles would work well too.  

I tried a different size for this card & it may become a new favorite. I trimmed a Russian Sage(Memory Box) notecard so it was about 2 ¾ to 3” in width. The height is still the same & it opens at the side.

The grassy hill was created with a piece of Snow & Cedar paper trimmed with decorative edge scissors. After this piece was attached to the base, Petunia Petals (217C) was stamped onto the base piece & grass. She was stamped again on a separate piece of cardstock, colored & trimmed out. She was then adhered over the stamped image on the base card. The clouds were stamped using the cloud image from the Forest Fun (CL145) clear set. They were stamped again on another sheet of cardstock, covered in glitter, trimmed, and adhered to the base with dimensional adhesive. Originally, I wasn’t going to add a sentiment, but ended up adding the Memory Box “Best of the Bunch” sentiment. I think this would make a nice friendship card.
