Oh, Happy Day

We've had a lot to celebrate recently – a new company launching, new employees and all of the excitement and challenges that go along with such ventures. This is a great card for celebrating all the good stuff going on.
A birthday?
An announcement?
Maybe just a cheery note for someone special in your life!
We used the Bella Balloon image for this card (balloons=happy!), stamped in Brilliance Graphite Black ink for a crisp outline and then colored in with Copic markers. The Bella Balloon image was stamped directly onto a layer of Peach Fuzz paper from Memory Box and also onto white cardstock. The face and balloons were colored on the white cardstock and cut out – while the dress and hat were colored on the Peach Fuzz cardstock. Note that if the face was colored on the Peach Fuzz cardstock, the face would be really too peachy – which is why the face is colored on the white cardstock, so that you can add skin tone as you want. We've been busy pulling orders for poppystamps! We've received orders from the following stores to carry all of our cute little images:
We'll be sending samples along with these orders – so if you are near any of these stores and want to see some ideas in person, visit their stores!
I think the flower ribbon is such a fun touch – I don't know the name of the company that makes it, but we picked it up at Impress Rubber stamps – and as I recall they stocked it in a few fun colors!

  2. I love the colors you used on the face. I received a thank you card from you all last week and loved it. How do you get the face to look so fuzzy and cute? What white cardstock and colored pencils did you use?
