First Order

We received our first order from a store today! We were all so excited, pulling the order, invoicing (Invoice #1!), packing it and shipping it off. Stephanie Nishikawa, at the Paper Garden in Sacramento, California loved the entire line and ordered everything. If you are in the Sacramento area, stop by her store to see the stamps in person – and we sent about 15 sample cards so that she could set up a fun display in the store.
Of course if you aren't in the Sacramento area, we sell our stamps right on the site as well – so browse on over and you might see something you like!
We used our Dani Dot stamp (214C – Dani is named after our friend Dani at Rubber Soul) for the thank you card above (again we just printed a thank you on the blue paper with our computer, but I am pretty sure I have seen a similar thank you available through Savvy Stamps.
The Dani Dot stamp doesn't have stripes on the shirt, so we used colored pencils to draw in some pink and orange stripes, and then colored the shirt around them with a Copic marker.
The image is stamped with Brilliance Graphite Black ink and after it has dried completely, you can color it in with colored pencil or copic marker.
Notice the dots on the hat – when we colored over the black dots with orange Copic marker, the image didn't smear at all. The ink is so wonderful with copics (but it has to be completely dry – or heat set).
