Hot Diggity Dog!
by Rachel Duong

Hi Poppystamps friends, it’s Rachel here with a hot diggity dog card and lots of fun! Have you seen the latest Poppystamps release? I must say it’s doggone incredible. I used the “Curved Dachshund” die. Not only are the dog dies enclosed, but bones and balls are included as well.
I die cut the dachshund in black and brown cardstock and glued the pieces together.

Next I cut a summer squash paper down to a 4″ x 5.25″ and glued it to a white cardbase. I die cut the sentiment in key lime green paper. I love the dotted i’s–they are attached to the “hot” word. I don”t have to spend hours looking for the missing dots!

I can’t say enough about the quality of Poppystamps 8.5″ x 11″ paper packs. They are colorful and strong –they die cut beautifully. I die cut the balls in summer squash, key lime, leaf sprout, cilantro and white cardstock. I die cut the bones in white cardstock too.

Then I glued the dachshund and the sentiment down for a starting point to help me figure out where I wanted all the small pieces to go. I layered some of the pieces over others and sometimes I cut out more than one die cut so I could glue them together. Tip–take a photo of your design so you can rest assured that you always have the picture to refer back to.

No embellishments were added to the card so it is finished! Yay!

This card is full of celebration. It can be for birthdays, achievement, can’t wait to see you, travels, and so many more events. Until next time, keep on crafting and don’t forget to checkout the Poppystamps latest release!
