July Challenge Reminder: Red White & Bloom

Hi crafty friends! It’s Michelle Woerner, and I’m here with a reminder for the July challenge. On the first of each month we post a new challenge and we’d love you to play along. If you link up a project from any on line gallery, blog, or instagram, you’re automatically entered for the monthly $20 giveaway! The theme for July is Red White & Bloom, we want you to add red white or blooms to your project!
To start my cards I used the Nordic Belle Butterfly die set and cut them from red, white and blue cardstock. I love that the butterfly has 3 layers. So once you chose your colors, you die cut the butterfly 3 times (to get a different color for each layer) you end up with enough die cuts for 3 butterflies mixed and matched! I made 2 cards with my butterflies!
Of course I had to add Blooms to my card, so I pulled Nordic Flower Bunch die set and cut them from red, white and blue cardstock. I kept the card super clean and simple, so I adhered the butterfly to the center and arranged a few flowers evenly on both sides. The sentiment on both cards are from the Birthday Banners stamp/die set stamped in blue ink. Lastly, I added a few red gems for a bit of sparkle.
