A Garland of Blue Poinsettias!
by Sphoorti

Hello Poppy Peeps!

It’s Sphoorti again! Remember the Blue Poinsettias and Nordic Rings card I shared during the first week of October? Well, I’m excited to show you the second card from that collection!

I started by cutting poinsettias from plain white Neenah Solar White cardstock, and used some of my favorite colors like Blueprint Sketch and Wilted Violet to distress the petals and leaves. I also made a few more poinsettias using silver glitter cardstock. To add dimension, I layered the petals, alternating between the silver and distressed pieces.

I arranged five poinsettias on the card, leaving enough space to connect them with pearls for a cohesive look. To give the card more character, I distress inked the corners with the same colors. Then, I arranged the pearls to form a garland-like design, adding an extra touch of elegance.

For the finishing details, I splattered the card with perfect pearls in two shades and added the “Merry” sentiment from the Merry Christmas Moonlight Script Die Set. I inked the sentiment in the same colors as the poinsettias and layered a few pieces to create a chipboard effect. Glossy accents gave the sentiment a shiny finish, and that was it!

Here’s a photo carousel of the card.
