Purple Passion
by Tricia Barber

Hey there!  Purple is one of those colors that you either love it or hate it!  I have developed a love for purple lately.  I love the cool tones with silver.  I used the Nordic Floral Butterfly die and cut from light to dark shades of purple. Given that I used 4 colors, I now have a few extra butterflies in my stash for a future project which is always a plus for me! I used foam tape in between the layers of the butterfly to give it some dimension.  Such a beautiful die set with all the lacey details.

I don’t have many 3D embossing folders this one is from Memory Box and is called Cheerful Floral.   I think it is beautiful.  I kept it simple by just embossing the main panel.   I did spritz my paper with some light water to keep the cardstock from cracking or tearing.  I added the butterfly with more foam tape.   I layered it onto a silver panel from the Memory Box Vintage Pastel Mirror 6×6 pad.   Then I added some white Fairy Jewels to the card for a little more sparkle.

I finished off the card with a simple sentiment strip using the Sentimental Banners and silver embossed my sentiment.   I hope that you have wonderful crafty weekend!
