A Ray Of Sunshine
by Birgit Norton

Good morning crafty friends! I just love the warmth the sunshine brings and today’s card is full of sunshine just for you. This card meets the requirement for the current challenge “Good Day Sunshine” too. Double win! Let’s jump right in on how this card came together.

Using the Potpourri Flower Set, I cut several sets of flowers from some warm toned scraps I had in my scrap box.

In keeping with the sunshine theme, I cut the largest Double Scalloped Stitched Frame out of soft yellow cardstock from the Sunrise 6×6 cardstock pack and the medium sized frame from white cardstock.
I used a heat embossed sentiment from Diamond Sentiments and cut it using a circle die and then layered it onto a Brilliant Ring cut out of a darker shade of yellow from the Sunrise pack.
I layered the frames onto a piece of printed paper from the Gladiola 6×6 pack of paper and attached the circle sentiment and added the flowers, finishing the centers off with Fairy Jewels. A warm and encouraging card to send to a friend.

Hi Birgit, This card is beautiful, the colours are lovely and warm and I’m loving how you have used the frame die-cuts.
