Spooky Night
by Michele K. Henderson

Hello Poppystamps Friends!
The spooky season is here and we have had so much fun playing with the newest Halloween and Autumn dies from Poppystamps! Today, I am sharing a bright mixed media design using the new Cat Collage, Twisted Houses, and Leafy Branch Oval. Take a look!

The very first step I took was to get out my alcohol inks and create a panel with deep blood oranges and vivid yellows, and let that dry for about 3 days! Where I live in Florida, alcohol ink panels can stay sticky for days! When it was finally dry, I cut out the Cat Collage from a black panel, along with the Leafy Branch Oval, Twisted Houses, and Snowman and Trees.

I then cut tiny squares from my YUPO paper alcohol ink panel a little smaller than each twisted House, and glued in to the back. I also cut a circle a little larger than my Cat Collage moon and glued that to the back of my black card base. I used tiny foam pop dot circles on the backs of each Twisted House, then assembled everything on my card.

That was the fun part! The vivid color of the blended alcohol inks make these little houses and cat perfect for some spooky fun!

I finished the card with a few Fairy Jewels and Treasure Chest Fairy Gemstones for a fun finishing touch! Let’s get our boos on!
Thanks for joining us today!

Hi Michele, This is such an ethereal card, I adore the alcohol ink panels and the black houses and cat collage add a fabulous silhouette for the lovely strong coloured alcohol ink backgrounds.
Lots of love from Patricia xx
