Challenge Reminder

Hi Friends! It is Dana here today with a Challenge Reminder! I hope you get a chance to play along with our challenge this month. You never know, you just might be the lucky winner of the $20.00 gift certificate to the Poppystamps online store. All you have to do is create a project using an animal, along with one of the many products from the Poppystamp line and link it up to the challenge post. 

Let’s get started with my card, shall we?

I started my card by creating my background. I used the Memory Box stencil, Drifting Hearts. I added Distress Oxide Ink (Worn Lipstick, Squeezed Lemonade and Tumbled Glass) to my background and then used the same colors along with the stencil to create a tone on tone effect. 

Next, I used the Love Heart die to die cut three hearts out from my card panel. I then attached my card panel to my stenciled background so the soft colors were showing through behind the hearts to create a soft pretty background. 

I die cut the Whittle Panda from white cardstock and used Copic markers (N2 and RV 10) to color the details. I then attached the adorable little panda inside the hearts. Lastly, I stamped my sentiment onto the bottom of my card panel before attaching everything to my A2 card base.
