Poppystamps Challenge: For the Boys
by Jennifer Svare

Hello!  Are you playing along with the challenge this month?  One random winner will be chosen from all entries, and entering is easy!  The theme is Masculine, and more details can be found here!

For my card, I chose three shades of blue for the base colors.  I made small strips of the medium and light, and glued them to lightweight cardstock.  Next, I die cut the large sailboat from the Marina Sailboats set, and that created a perfectly striped sailboat.

I die cut the Scribble Circle Collage out of the dark blue background, and used distress oxides to create a sunset (or sunrise) onto a white background that is glued behind it.

This is going to be my brother's birthday card, so I used the Scribble Happy Birthday for the greeting inside.

Super simple card, and really fast to make!  I could see this same overall design being used with the flamingo, or any other die used as a silhouette.  So many colors and designs could be used…   Be sure to check out the video below for more details on how this card was created.

I can't wait to see all the challenge cards this month – lots of great ideas out there, and we would love to see yours next!
