Faerie Magic
by Michele K. Henderson

Hello Everyone!

It’s that special time of the year when we’re getting our gardens together with a little hope and a prayer, and a visit from a magical garden faerie! Today, I am sharing an easy layered card that features the glittery Thoughtful Faerie! Take a look!

I started with a stitched card base, and added a fun die, the Coulis Collage! Coulis Collage is a fun die to use because it can give the illusion of so many things, like a window, a garden trellis, a panel, a tapestry, just let your imagination take flight. Since the Coulis Collage is a die that cuts out from a background panel, I cut a small edge around the opening with a pair of scissors to create a window piece that was adhered onto the purple panel. Then I cut the Thoughtful Faerie out of yellow glitter paper, and used pieces of a foam pop dot to give her dimension, along with the tiny flower pot. Then I added the Gingko Branch, and stars and hearts from All Star Collage and Preppy Deer.

This little faerie was sent to bring your garden a little luck and a little love! She would make a great addition to a card that you could create for our May challenge, Flower Power!

There’s so much going on here at Poppystamps this week, you won’t want to miss a thing! Thanks so much for joining us today!
