Scribble Flower Thanks
by Sue McRae

Hello crafty friends! Sue here with a clean and simple card for you.

I started off by making my background panel using water colour paper and very loosely painting it with blues and purples. While this dried I die cut the Scribble Flower Circle from blue metallic card stock.

Next I created the frame for the card by die cutting the Thanks Corner from white card stock.

When the background panel was dry I die cut the Atessa Collage from the bottom right corner. I didn’t want all the little pieces from the die cut to come out so I used an old warpy cutting plate with my Big Shot and this prevented the die from cutting all the way through the paper, leaving all the bits in place and easy to adhere to the card base.

I attached the thanks frame next and then the wreath but felt like it needed something else so I die cut a few flowers from silver glitter paper from the Daisy Cluster and adhered them around the wreath.

To finished off I added a few silver embellishments.

Thanks for visiting with me today!

  2. Gorgeous card Sue!! Such delicate die, and I love the partial inlaid die on the base panel and the beautiful colors!!!

  3. Beautiful card! Not sure how you got the Thanks die cut to make a frame? It looks like it’s all one piece and no frame dies are listed. Love the colors and the clever use of Atessa die.
