Give Thanks
by Jinny Newlin

Morning, friends!  It's Jinny here today, sharing a pretty, autumn, watercolor creation.  Enjoy!

I started this card by watercoloring a piece of watercolor paper in shades of yellow and purple and splattering it with those same colors.  I then used both the Fall Leaf Collage and Majestic Maple dies to die-cut a number of maple leaves from the dried print; secured them, some with foam tape, as seen below, to the Oatmeal, cardstock, card face, which had its top left corner rounded; and splattered them with Pure Black and Titanium White acrylic paints.

A strip of Elegant Eggplant cardstock was then anchored, along the right side of the card face, with gold-threaded, straight, machine stitches and topped with the "give thanks" sentiment, which was die-cut, from gold cardstock, with our Give Thanks Brushed die to complete the look.

Thanks so much for stopping by!  Have a terrific Tuesday, friends!

  1. Morning Jinny, I love this technique !! colouring the card and spattering, then die-cutting, a brilliant technique, and the finished card looks gorgeous.
Lots of love from Patricia xx
