Marcelle Flower
by Sue McRae

Hello everyone, Sue here with a card using wood grain paper and three dies from the new release.

I wanted to let the beautiful Marcelle Flower take centre stage on this card.

I die cut the flower from birch wood veneer, keeping the petals in the original birch colour and using a Copic marker to colour the stem and stamen. Love how well the wood took the debossing on the petals.

For the background I die cut a bunch of the Stick Frames to add some texture.

To finish off  I added a few Tremble Leaf die cuts for a grassy zone.

Thanks for visiting with me today!

  1. OMG….so glad to see this Marcelle flower on a card. I put it on my wish list when I first saw it. So pretty. And the stick frames you used for the background is perfect…not too much to take away from the flower. I saw that Olga used this die in an earlier post and I loved it then and still love it seeing how you used it. Great post…TFS
