Happy Easter

I love cards that can stand up and are a card and a decoration.  I think this one fits the bill.  I found the  pattern and directions on YouTube.  If you search  Step/Ladder card it will pop up.  The card folds flat to 4 1/2 x 6 inches.  I made an envelope, but a 1/2 fold card envelope would fit it just fine.

This card is super easy to make and such fun to decorate.  I used an embossing folder to give the card stock dimension.

The Happy Easter was created on my computer using PrintShop.  The little butterflies are a punch.

Don't you just love the sweet Frilly Bunny?  I sure do.  I think I need to find her a fluffy tail….hmmmm!  Aren't after thoughts fun!

It was fun hiding the Egg Cetra  eggs in the Fresh Cut Grass.  I die cut the eggs  from scraps I had left from a class I taught earlier in the month.

The Picket Fence is one of my all time favorite dies.  It seems to fit perfectly where ever I use it.

The Elsa Butterfly backed by the Lyndon Butterfly was the perfect fit and I think a sweet addition to the top of the card.  Originally I was going to use buttons, but I think butterflies are perfect and give the card another layer of dimension.

I covered the back with the green squares, but did not decorate them. I also forgot to take a photo of the back!  Shame on me!

If you have any questions, please drop me an email.  I'll be happy to answer them.  I hope you try making  a card similar to this one.  It looks impressive and is so very easy.

Off I go…sending hugs and wishes for a most happy crafty month.
